So I get an email from Adeline's teacher yesterday.
She asked the kids what they did for Mother's Day, and Adeline told the class that on Mother's Day they went swimming, and Mommy drank beer and yelled at us.
Yup, that's what she said.
Now, the reason they got yelled at was because the bottle of the single beer that I did have, got knocked over and broke. I yelled at them to stay away from it while I went to clean up the broken glass.
Now the class and the teachers think I'm an alcoholic with an anger problem.
Super.

That's OK. You would be a GREAT parent compared to many of the ones I work with!
At least your kid isn't bringing a lunch like "Daddy's" to school- a stick of pepperoni and a can of beer!
My 3 year old cousin packed this lunch for his 5 year old brother...still have no idea how CPS wasn't called in on this one.
Oh man, yeah, my kids' version of things has often made me wonder why nobody has called cps on us :/
I have to say, it's kinda funny when it's someone else's kids!
I did not read back several posts.... but I wonder why the teacher called? Hopefully she is a friend or knew it was funny. Kids are always telling me crazy things. I take the comments with a grain of salt.
I am still laughing about this.
